Vladimir Karaleev put together a collection built on contrasts, i.e. a complex, sculptural top and a simple, linear bottom, and vice versa. The complex pieces were constructed in overlapping panels of different colours and materials, such as a black turtleneck with two different-coloured fabric rectangles applied to it, worn with slim blue low crotch trousers, or a bordeaux sweater with a white collar, brown sleeve and black cuffs teamed with a draped skirt with front split. Aside from the overlapping, there was also asymmetry, raw-cut or fringed hems, and visible basting stitches, which gave the looks a decorative, unfinished feel.
