Charlotte Rampling provided the inspiration this time for Vanessa Bruno, a designer who always manages to infuse her collections with an easy yet very personal Parisian style. There were many casual pieces, including jackets and coats, which Bruno made from English tweed, while cable knits were hand-made in France. As well as coats, other outerwear included down jackets with cosy collars that gave the collection a sporty touch, worn with trousers of various widths and lengths. Possibly inspired by the Anglo-French actress’s role in ‘The Night Porter’, the designer offered a number of elegant outfits based on the dinner jacket. It featured as a dress, as a flared mini-dress in black velvet with a white lace ruched collar, cuffs and bib front, and as a very sexy tuxedo worn over bare skin.
