Playful and colourful, the new collection from Tsumori Chisato had a marine atmosphere with plenty of imaginative prints and puckered effects reminiscent of waves. Dresses and skirts of various styles and lengths, never tight-fitting but loose and ethereal, featured designs in which the designer, or rather her scuba diving alter ego, dove to the depths encountering enchanted creatures such as sleeping giants to whom she gave a golden eye or simply swimming amongst the blue bubbles. Blue, orange and green were the favoured colours, plus a series of airy, pretty dresses in ivory, sheer and/or embroidered with motifs such as shells, polyps or fronds.
