Tod’s showed a collection with pure design, Brit influences and Italian refinement. Leather was the key material for winter. Lacquered and sensual for belted trenches and pencil skirts with a front split. Super-light for T-shirts with high necks and boxy shoulders, masculine shirts, shorts and bermuda shorts. Crocodile printed for sharp outerwear. Gutsy in an elongated biker jacket and in the belts. Cosy in the soft patent down jackets. Sculptural in pleated mini-dresses gathered at the neckline, and wide-leg trousers. Suede leather was used for elegant loafers with metallic details. Coats came in houndstooth and Prince of Wales, parkas and jackets in shearling, while oversize cardigans in jacquard wool featured palm tree intarsia. Animal prints embellished the surfaces. All this leather came in a range of colours, ranging from pink, bordeaux and orange to brick and olive.
