Andrea Incontri’s latest collection for Tod’s could be called ‘utilitarian elegance’ in its attempt to team functionality with refinement with a focus on outerwear. From the duffle coat, which gave its toggles to a parka, to the down jacket, the coat to the military jacket, outerwear was the basis of the entire look, which was mainly made up of high-necked jumpers or cable knit crew necks and cardigans worn over a white T-shirt and mostly classic, pressed trousers, tapering to the ankle. Pieces were layered together in a rather relaxed yet precise way that gave the impression of ordered refinement, suitable for the brand’s signature sporty-urban context.
