The iconic British aristocratic country style reworked for everyday wear in the city, as Stella McCartney does so well. The starting point is tailoring in constant dialogue with sportswear and military garb. Melange grey suits resembled jumpsuits and were styled with a knit polo shirt. Classic coats were turned into parkas with the addition of a hood or duetted with maxi scarves. Flannel trousers were traditional but had cargo pockets and the comfort of track pants. Camouflage was embellished with paint splashes and was not used just for outerwear but also chunky sweaters with added animal prints. White sneakers were sustainable with stretch knit uppers.
