There is always an artistic touch on the Salvatore Ferragamo runway and this time it is teamed with a desire to explore the world, so there were backpacks and big pockets for a globe-trotting poet that borrowed Hans Arp’s decorations and turned them into embroidery on blousons and brooches pinned to lapels. Fluid suits included a silk safari jacket, thin V or crew neck sweaters, soft shirt-jackets worn inside the trousers for an overall relaxed and slightly wrinkled yet always elegant feel. A case in point was a blouson made of a hundred thousand little leather triangles which took more than 290 hours of work.
