The Pringle runway was given a sexy boost thanks to new creative director Fran Stringer, who explored underwear, a sector the Scottish brand specialised in back in 1815, for knitted bodices and tops in felt with contrasting topstitching with angora and mohair. Corsetry popped up throughout the collection, including as motifs on a chunky Aran sweater or in the wrap of a brown V-neck knit worn with matching loose trousers, or again in a long sunflower yellow vertical ribbed knit tube dress with the front centre ribbed horizontally to form a corset. There were also more solid pieces, such as a fur-effect chunky sweater and a jacket with black buckle fastening and fur panels, but in general the result looked light and relaxing.
