The new passion of the Prada man is comics, which Miuccia admits she is drawn to as decorative motifs because they are “hand-drawn, human, simple and real”. And yet the show was not a parade of superheroes but of human beings, who do not always necessarily win out in the end, wearing nylon overalls fastened at the ankle with velcro straps, solid colour or cartoon-printed shirts-polo shirts worn with contrasting raised collars and sleeves rolled up to the biceps, tucked into technical or tweed trousers with big turn-ups, or else tiny shorts. The overalls turned elegant when paired with a coat with solid shoulders, also in tweed, while formal suits featuring high-waist trousers with inside leg bands were as light as tracksuits. Cardigans with breast pocket and rolled up sleeves were also tucked into trousers.
