Philipp Plein put on another glaring, multimillion dollar show that his audience is no doubt accustomed to but which was perhaps a little over-the-top. After seeing a bulldozer plough through a wall of foil boulders, a robot and then a UFO, the clothes finally arrived onto the snow-covered runway. If you have not yet grasped the atmosphere the designer was going for, this was a sci-fi themed event in which futuristic clothing mixed with ski and snowboard apparel, including furry Moon Boots. There were lots of jumpsuits, some padded, with multi branded straps outlining the quilting on sleeves, waist and legs, other ultra-tight Catwoman suits, zipped and decorated with mini-crystals or worn with overcoats in transparent plastic or with contrasting silver insets. The outerwear was oversize and sporty, and sometimes worn over a bodysuit with nude insets.
