Editorial

A floral print inspired by Robert Mapplethorpe, with no sexual connotation this time, opened and accompanied the Paul & Joe show, which creative director Sophie Mechaly made youthful and relaxed, with young ruffled men undaunted by wearing their shirts and t-shirts tucked into their trousers, who leave their shirt unbuttoned over a basic tee and wear a t-shirt under a blazer, even under a dinner jacket, which appeared here in white with lapels and track pants-style trousers with black side bands. Shorts and chinos alternated with more classic trousers, though the mood remained informal by pairing them with sneakers, printed knits or with ironic ‘available’ lettering.
