In their metallic booties with sky high platforms and candy-coloured dreadlocks, Marc Jacobs’ girls were raving in front of a midnight blue backdrop illuminated by myriad little lights. Unconcerned by the super-high hemlines on the dresses and shorts, their legs were either bare or tucked into patterned over the knee socks, which alternated with high-waist skinny trousers. Mini-dresses ranged from Victorian baby-dolls with lace, collars, bows and/or puff sleeves to glittery tunics. There were also military looks and camouflage prints, oversize sweatshirts with and without a hood, while the outerwear was mainly cropped, bolero style or long and trench-like, in denim or silvery leather or else velvet and/or sequinned. The multi-coloured palette matched the mood and the setting.
