Since Albert Elbaz left Lanvin, the fate of the French brand continues to be uncertain. After Bouchra Jarrar, who was not given enough time to build on her good start, Olivier Lapidus showed a collection that oscillated between long fluid silky plissé dresses and bold colours such as bright orange, used for a biker jacket with a strange side collar and a skin-tight hood, paired with purple stirrup pants over court shoes. That hood detail, later revealed to be part of a turtleneck, cropped up in other looks – teamed with a high-necked zipped knit, high-waist masculine trousers and orange belt or a transparent PVC overcoat and petrol green skinny trousers. Small bags featured a shoulder strap with a handy phone pocket.
