The Berlin aesthetic of cultures and subcultures spanning punk and cyber-punk to goth and neo-hippy met the ethereal three-dimensionality of veiled geometric figures covering part or all of the body. Below (or above): colourful t-shirts with German band slogans, denim mini-skirts and shorts over ripped and frayed fishnet tights, Gothic black total looks, tracksuits, floral dresses, trenches and military jackets. “Neither extreme construction nor streetwear stand alone stylistically. They are complementary and when merged together, become stronger.” Perhaps in Berlin they would be happy to wear nylon tetrahedrons, cones and pyramids on their urban ‘uniforms’.
