To say Véronique Nichanian is obsessed with colour is perhaps an overstatement, but she is certainly attentive to and fascinated by the power that colour can give throughout her collections for Hermès. It is also a clever and intriguing way of offering classic clothes made of the finest materials without repeating oneself or boring the brand’s wealthy clients. So, t-shirts, polo shirts and blousons came in an eye-catching shade of lemon yellow, which also popped up in a camouflage design, geometric insets on classic cardigans and a shorts and tee total look. Purple appeared on a blazer or in tie-dye effects on shirts and zipped jackets, while premium leather and materials as fluid and precious as silk did the rest.
