Francesco Scognamiglio aims to offer tailored clothes suited to all and to every hour of the day. This time the designer’s women were underground heroines revisiting men’s shirts, jackets and maxi sweatshirts with extreme femininity, creating a new romanticism. The collection had few colours. Apart from a little black and a few other tints, white gave an idea of purity to the entire collection. In his hands, the classic white shirt became a much sought after piece with lace insets, Victorian collars, ruches, crystals, couture-like details, pearls, gold fringes and pvc, while blue and white striped or blue floral patterned dresses on a white background were given the same treatment. Traces of gold appeared in jacquard bombers and an overcoat. The jacket in a black and white suit was slightly fitted with wide button-less lapels worn with visible lingerie, while the trousers were soft and ankle length.
