Ready for the night. Francesco Scognamiglio’s woman takes her best déshabillé look out on the town. Light as a feather, she seemed to float in an abundance of ruches. The height of femininity, white and transparencies make the heart tremble of whoever crosses the path of this ethereal, confident figure. Almost haughty, the floral dresses feature the iris – a symbol of trust and wisdom. Definitely cheeky, as shown by the strategic stitching revealing the breasts or the flounce uncovering a knee. The chiffon is sheer though not entirely see-through. This woman has to be discovered. The Neapolitan designer also referenced his own city in his clothes: the chapel of San Severo di Napoli and the Villa Comunale gardens influenced this collection.
