Fausto Puglisi presented a collection inspired by a mix of inspirations. He celebrated the visual references that have recurred throughout his career. He paid homage to Stephen Burrows, Halston, and Norma Kamali. And Christian Lacroix and Azzedine Alaïa. The colours were intense and brazen. Fuchsia and orange alternated and mixed in a colour vortex that teamed greens and yellows, shocking pink and bold emerald. Lycra dominated in tight stretch dresses with an athletic, sensual allure, with exaggerated splits and gilt embroidery, crystals and rhinestones. Pannier skirts left the legs uncovered. The body was exhibited, wrapped and enhanced in bodices, bustiers and daring bodysuits. Oversize T-shirts were printed with the iconic logo, bright details and “House Puglisi” lettering. A patchwork effect bomber was glam and oversize, bright and edged with studs. A seductive yet sporty style.
