There is no doubt that tartan is the undisputed star of Ermanno Scervino’s latest collection. It was reworked with a patchwork technique, paired with animal, used on blazers, woollen shirts and applied in patches to jeans, while coats were rather classic, mainly double-breasted and military in style. Tartan also appeared in jogging trousers with technical fabric side bands or in Prince of Wales or animal track pants. Knitwear came in brightly coloured stripes and broke up the otherwise universally British look. The palette reflected the theme, with iconic tartan tints teamed with classic menswear grey, black and blue.
