Two words summed up Ermanno Scervino’s winter show: preciseness and purity. The brand’s iconic pieces celebrating Made in Italy excellence were reworked with a contemporary touch. Layering became the mantra. Soft sweaters were worn over sharp coats in camel, powder pink, smoke and navy blue. A poplin shirt collar peeped out from under a fur lapel on a masculine coat. The shapes were elongated, linear and sharp. The collection had a sober precision but also a purity, suspended between delicacy and femininity. Knitwear shone and sparkled, covered with Swarovski crystals and teamed with airy silk skirts. Lace sheaths and slip dresses were fluid and sleek. The evening dresses fluttered in different lengths with ruches and whirls of silk organza in shades of white and pink.
