Winter sports were the focus at Emporio Armani, although the choice of glossy fabrics and decorative jacquards, shaded in some cases, gave the looks a refined touch more suited to the city than the slopes. After all, elegance is part of the DNA at Armani and, staged in the penumbra of the Armani Teatro, the collection gained a certain charm thanks to the abundance of velvet. It was used for blazers and suits with renewed proportions, with more compact shoulders, a shorter length and fluid trousers with turn-ups at the ankle. The sportier looks featured coatigans with double zips, overcoats with technical buckles and chunky jacquard jumpers in intense autumnal colours.
