Boxing turned glamorous at Dondup. The boxer’s robe became soft and chic. It came in fur edged with blue and white bands and had the brand logo on the back. Class and competitiveness came into the ring to play with combinations. Sporty vermilion sweaters were paired with fluid, pink, floral skirts. A white T-shirt gained some charm when teamed with a burgundy tweed mini-skirt. A parka had a soft dappled rabbit fur collar and broadcloth sleeves. The bomber reflected the urban blend of casual and refined with its quilted velvet and stud decoration. The trench coat was plastic-coated and worn over a sheer, sparkling slip dress. Denim, leather and shearling added a rockabilly element in shades of vermilion, turquoise, cognac and black. Every piece had a femininity and a strength, perfectly in tune with the title of the collection: “Femme Fighters”.
