For Daks’s 125th anniversary, creative director Filippo Scuffi dipped into the ’70s and came up with an eccentric, self-confident dandy, as shown by the first look – a checked wide-brimmed hat with matching overcoat, T-shirt, neck-tie knotted at the neck, white shorts and suede loafers. The next exits alternated an almost oversize fit (see the flared trousers) with closer-fitting or tight lines, as seen in the almost sheer turtlenecks and deep V-neck sweaters. Formal suits alternated in the same way, even with shorts. The colour palette was unusual, mainly featuring muted, autumnal shades in clear contrast with the neon explosion on other runways.
