Celebrating its 125th anniversary, Daks brought its signature Britishness to the runway, drawing inspiration from the novel and film adaptation, ‘The Remains of the Day’. Misty yet elegant afternoons in the English countryside were the backdrop for a collection that focused on Daks’ anniversary check for outerwear and suits. Other classic British motifs also made an appearance, from pinstripe to micro and macro herringbone to argyle, which was used for jumpers in an especially soft and cosy mohair. Sharp jackets were worn over a shirt, tie and waistcoat or a more casual turtleneck. Trousers were mostly classic or else jodhpur style, paired with flat lace-ups or riding boots. Flat caps and top-hats completed the look.
