While last summer the Daniele Alessandrini man had a creative flair that led to his wearing pieces splashed with colour, this coming winter there is a return to long coats, single and double-breasted camel or pinstripe paired with narrow pressed trousers and British-style lace-ups. And yet, as the relaxed elegance trend dictates, suits, featuring geometric prints and jacquard, were worn mainly over a turtleneck or a shirt without a tie, while for the evening they became pyjama hybrids while retaining a thinner version of the classic side bands. The same went for the coat, which was belted at the waist and resembled a dressing gown.
