Capucci met pop art and came up with a contemporary collection without neglecting the brand’s tradition. Designer Mario Dice aimed to dress a determined, resolute woman who does not sacrifice tailoring and glamour in her everyday life. The end result was a dynamic wardrobe perfect for both the office and the evening. The suits were exquisitely ’80s: double-breasted jackets with wide lapels, statement shoulders and soft trousers. Volume was a constant feature throughout, in the denim and leather trousers, in the sleeves and in the long skirts and dresses. A couture detail came with insets in shocking pink, green, purple and red juxtaposed with black, while the brand’s unmistakable architecture added character to solid colour pieces. Capucci lettering played down the knits and a maxi-dress. The evening wear came in light, transparent silk and cady.
