Having celebrated 20 years in the business last year, the Bruuns Bazaar brothers are confirmed as one of the landmark brands of Danish fashion, not least because they draw inspiration from Nordic design and particularly that of their own country. Elegance and understatement were the two key words of the new summer collection, made up of basic pieces, simple lines and soft fabrics that caressed the body, suitable for both the office and a cocktail evening. There were monochrome t-shirts worn with trousers of various lengths, some of which were shorts, masculine shirts in thin, fluid materials, tailored outfits worn over bare skin and structured coats over turtlenecks. Everything came in pale tones accentuated by salmon, blue, black and metallic sheen.
