A style as constant and reliable as the one who creates it. Brunello Cucinelli is reflected in his own brand season after season and he does so without ever moving away from that mix of formal and informal featuring impeccable blazers, crisp shirts at times replaced with a T-shirt, ankle-length trousers with and without turn-ups and premium knitwear. In this new collection, the clothes had a sporty feel, with references to tennis, but Cucinelli says he was inspired by the film ‘Out of Africa’ for the double-breasted jackets and safari jackets in lightweight fabrics such as linen normally used for shirting and colours ranging from tobacco to amber alongside flashes of burnt orange and red. Drawstring trousers alternated with bermuda shorts, jeans and cargo trousers with and without turn-ups, while sneakers and loafers were worn without socks.
