Ready for a sailing trip. Brunello Cucinelli’s woman spends summer at the harbour, strolling at sunset, cocktails with friends and short trips to the city. Cardigans and maxi sweaters give a garçonne touch to the style, paired with Japanese-style trousers or culottes. Cotton, linen tweed and hemp knits are flawlessly irregular and therefore unique. A natural, never pure, white is the main colour, bordering on ecru, sand and butter with delicate additions of black and charcoal. Natural blond colours, in solid or melange, appeared as hemp, rope and spelt. This sporty, though not banal, collection was roughed up a little by a bomber in laminated gold leather and twill, pinstripes embroidered with micro sequins, decorated knits, lace, waist sashes and skirts made especially for twirling by the seaside, leaving technical sandals and flip flops on the jetty.
