Since Jason Wu has been Boss creative director, his minimalist tendencies have all been focused there. Striking a good balance between tailoring and femininity, Wu showed a clean, graphic and structured collection which alternated military coats and jackets with asymmetric buttoning and Mandarin collar with sheaths divided into diagonal sections worn with riding boots. There was lots of wool, also bouclé for two sinuous long-sleeved long dresses with wavy hem, glossy effects came from geometric insets on the tops paired with knee-length skirts and on the metallic mesh evening dresses in the finale, which also included two tuxedos, single and double-breasted, with contrasting lapels and slim trousers, clearly stating the brand’s mannish dna.
